Colophon

Everything on this site was written with AI assistance. All of it, including the pieces that first appeared elsewhere, and including this page.

That is not a confession. By 2026 it is close to the default, and a site claiming otherwise would be making the less believable claim. What is worth stating is the part that actually varies between one AI-assisted piece and another: whose argument it is, and who is answerable for it.

What is mine

The positions. The examples. What is worth writing about, what is wrong with the current draft, which sentence is doing no work, and whether a thing is true.

Most of these begin as an argument - me putting a view, a model pushing on it, me correcting it or changing my mind. What comes out is shaped by both. The judgement about whether it is right, and whether it is mine to say, is not shared.

What is not

The phrasing, mostly. Structure, transitions, the work of turning a position held for years into paragraphs somebody else can follow.

I am not going to pretend that is nothing. It is a real contribution and it is why these read better than they would otherwise. It is also not the part that makes them worth reading.

The originals

Several pieces here first appeared on LinkedIn. Each links to its original, and the verbatim published text is kept exactly as it was - typos included - so the two can be compared directly. A corrected original is not an original.

The date on each piece is the date it was first published, not the date it was tidied up for this site. The provenance belongs to the first publication.

What is never delegated

The decision to publish. Whether it is true, whether it is mine to say, whether it should be said at all. None of that is a model's call and none of it is checked by one.

There is a gate that runs before anything ships, and it is deliberately mechanical: it fails on internal vocabulary, on infrastructure detail, and on any present-tense claim about something unreleased. It catches words. It cannot catch meaning, and it cannot tell me whether an argument is mine to make.

If something here is wrong, it is wrong because I published it. There is nobody else in the room.

The site

Static HTML with no database, no admin panel and no content system - built on a workstation and copied to a server that runs nothing but a file server. Nothing here can be defaced through a login, because there is no login. If it ever is, the fix is to publish it again.
